    The Ceramic filters are comprised of 6 candles that are attached to a module that fits into the first 10” housing. Ceramic filters can be cleaned when the water flow slows down to increase the water flow to the initial water flow as when the system was first installed. Ceramic filters do require care when handling due to their fragile nature. The unique pore structure allows for water filtering down to 0.5 microns.

     

    The Carbon Block filter is the second filter and is 20 inches long and 4.5 inches thick which provides ample carbon material to adsorb chlorine, volatile organic compounds, Disinfectant By-Products and other chemicals.
