  • Rio-2000 will provide 4 gallons a minute flow with 60 psi water pressure.  These ceramic filters offer absolute 1 micron filtration using Doulton® Sterasyl™ Ceramic filters.   This system is ideal for a smaller foot print homes using spring water, or well water.  The ceramic filters will last for several years.  They can be cleaned as needed to improve water flow as fine particles will build up on the filter (candle).   When additional flow is needed, two units can be installed in parallel to each other to provide additional water flow.  A sediment filter can be installed prior to the Rio 2000 to reduce the frequency of cleaning the ceramic candles if heavy sediment is a problem.

     

    In addition, a water filter housing with a Carbon filter could be installed following the Rio-2000 to remove any chemicals or chlorine from the water.
