The Doulton®  UltraCarb Under-the-Sink water filter system is one of the best water filter systems on the market today.  The Doulton Ceramic filter is a water filter that has been a unique water treatment technology that has been around since the 1850's and continues to provide the same basic protection against microbiological contamination.

The do-it-yourself (DIY) water filter system comes complete with water filter, single lever standard faucet, water supply tubing and fittings to make the under the sink water filter installation easy.

The UltraCarb™ is the best water filter Doulton makes because it provides 3 filtering components in one.  The Ceramic out shell protects against microbiological contamination. The inner space of the ceramic shell contains Activated Carbon Block which consists of tightly bonded carbon powders to form a solid block with microscopic pores that adsorb chemicals and neutralize chlorine molecules.   In addition to the Carbon materials are cation resins that are attached to the carbon and causes heavy metals like lead to stick to the filter.

These three materials do a superior job at removing the most common contaminants that are found in many water sources.

  • Microbiological bacteria,
  • Chlorine resistant cyst,
  • Disinfectant By-Products,
  • Volatile Organic Compounds,
  • Herbicides

"I have been looking for a water filtration system that I can trust for years. Part of it is the immense amount of information that is out there and who/what to trust. I would also be overwhelmed the thought of installation and maintenance of it. I knew Ed as an impeccable, trustworthy person and when I found out he had developed this new company, I was thrilled and relieved. I called Ed, and within a week, I had my water filtration system that works beautifully for my office. We see about 200-300 clients per week and I feel good about the water that goes our clients' cups! THANK YOU Ed for doing what you do, so that I can do what I do!"
